Gulliver has given an account of many conversations which he had with his master during a period of two years. He had laid before the master the whole state of Europe- its trade, arts and sciences. Gulliver had attempted to give him an account of the Revolution under Prince of Orange, the long war with France. The master was told about the motives of war. Gulliver also told the master about law and its ill-effects during that period. The master though believed that the lawyers could do better as instructors in the field of wisdom and knowledge which Gulliver later denied with reasons.
